Mysore was the main city of the Hindu kings, the Wodeyars. The Wodeyars were under the Vijayanagar Empire till it collapsed in 1565, upon which they declared themselves independent. They ruled from Mysore ever since, till in 1956 the princely state joined the Republic of India. There was a brief interlude though in the 18th century with the power of Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan in the ascendant. Sightseeing will include Tippu Sulthan Palace, Tippu Sulthan fort, Tippu Sulthan Memorial Mosque, Sri Ranganathan Swamy Temple, Valamburi Falls, Maharaja's Palace (with Colorful Fountains) lights and Shopping . Return Back to Bangalore in the evening

Day 1
Trip to Mysore & Sightseeing
We wil start from bangalore early morning for a 140 kilometer / 3 hour drive to Mysore and check into the hotel. Mysore still retains its calm old world charm in its surroundings. Mysore is renowned for its beautiful palaces and charming gardens. Mysore has never botched to captivate the visitors with its unique charisma, royal palaces, rich legacy, grandiose buildings, elegantly laid-out gardens, sacred temple complexes and broad shady boulevard. Mysore city is also known for propinquity to several other places of interest such as Srirangapatna, Krishna Raj Sagra dam and Sivasamudram falls. After lunh proceed for sightseeing in Mysore Palace and Chamundi Temple, St.Philomina Church and finish off with the Brindavan garden show in the evening . Overnight at the hotel.

We specialise in Customised holiday packages in Kerala and we will be able to offer you any resort in Kerala as we have direct relationshops with most resorts. If you want to change the resorts in this package, one of our trip designers will work with you till you are happy with the package. Our Trip Designers will be also able to tell you the highlights of each resort and you can decide on whether you woud like to book the same resort

When you book a holiday with hotels and taxi together with us we will be able to offer you much lower rates than what you will get directly. As we use carefully handicked drivers who can offer the quality that we ideally want, we dont offer taxi only booking services.
