Pickup from Cochin in A/C Car and trip to Alleppey for Cruise

We will pick you up from any location in Ernakulam city or Cochin International Airport via A/C car. It takes about 75 minutes to reach Alleppey or Kumarakom. For the first two hours, we will take you through some of the beautiful backwater attractions of Alleppey. By 11 AM, we will check-in to the houseboat . Start the cruise at 12 PM and enjoy the scenes in a Kerala country side in a backwater cruise -skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed down paddy fields, local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes and swaying coconut palms.

Starting from Alleppey after visiting Vembanadu Lake the overnight cruise will take you through  some of the beautiful backwater attractions of Alleppey. This is a good scenic route and require One day to travel. For Lunch , we will have Kerala Houseboat Menu that includes Rice, Sambar, Aviyal, Thoran, Pappad, Pickle, Curd, Green Salad and Non. Veg. Dishes like Kerala Speciality Karimeen Fish fry or Chicken Curry etc .  All meals will be served on board and the boat will anchor at 5:30 PM. Overnight stay at houseboat and the houseboat will anchor near the shore. Dinner with Chappati and traditional Indian/ Kerala dishes will be served at night and you can retire to your rooms for the sleep. A/C will be available from 9 AM to 6 PM in the deluxe houseboat.

Wake up in the morning and enjoy a cup of tea and watch the sunrise along the backwarers. In the morning we will continue with the cruise and try a delicious breakfast with Kerala Items . Proceed to Kochi  for sightseeing.

Sightseeing in Kochi

Enjoy the morning at your leisure and checkout of the houseboat after breakfast. Start exploring Fort Kochi and Mattancherry in the chauffeur driven car. Fort Cochin still keeps alive its ancient Jewish traditions and visit the Santa Cruz basilica, Mattancherry Palace, St: Francis Church and much more. The Jews Street and Chinese fishing nets are a must see. We also recommend visiting Kasi arts cafe and savoring the shakes available there. We will drop you back for the departure flight back home from Trivandrum/ Kochi for your trip back home, feeling contended about a wonderful honeymoon you spent at God's Own Country like so many of our guests.
