Kovalam Sightseeing

After Breakfast proceed to Kovalam.  The Kovalam is famous for its blue beach with ravishing beauty. The Kovalam Beach is the most prominent tourist destination in India during the hippy era and it continues to attract tourists from all over the world. The three beaches separated by outcrops includes Light House Beach which known for its 30 meters high lighthouse and the second largest Hawah beach. Varkala Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed to Varkala . The settings are ideal for playing several beach games and activities like beach volleyball, human fuse ball and beach soccer. Varkala Sightseeing

Time spent in Varkala is time spent at a different pace of life.  After breakfast, wander down to the beach or take in the Janardhana Swamy Temple with a history going back nearly 2,000 years.  A place of sanctuary and religious significance, only Hindus are allowed into the inner sanctum.  Ever connected to its colonial past, the temple bell was removed from a Dutch vessel which sank near Varkala.  Clear your mind with some Yoga beach style before visiting the small eateries which dot the cliffs above the beach emanating the authentic sights and smells of India.  There are also some small antique shops.  The cliff top views are breathtaking.  But the lack of development is remarkable considering how beautiful this place is.  If you want to slow the pace, Varkala will fit the bill just perfectly.

Varkala to Alleppey (Houseboat)

Proceed to Alleppey from Varkala after breakfast. On arrival check into the houseboat. Set out an awesome overnight backwater cruise in traditional Kerala houseboat. Starting from Alleppey we will take you through sights of paddy fields created from Lake during the ruling of King and here cultivation happens below sea level) and will pass through multiple backwater canals and return back to Alleppey.
