The Wodeyars ruled Mysore till the state joined the Republic of India in 1956. The power of Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan made a short break in the 18th century.

Trip to Ooty & SIghtseeing

Check out from the hotel at Mysore after breakfast. Proceed to Ooty with a 3-hour drive. The Ooty-Mysore road is passed via Bandipur National Park where rarely you can witness moving of wild elephants. After arrival in Ooty, check in to the hotel. Ooty is called the queen of hill stations with its 7300ft height above the sea level. Its natural beauty and other captivating features attract every wanderlust. After having breakfast, enjoy your leisure time sightseeing in Ooty. For a local tour in Ooty, you may visit the Botanical garden, Doddabetta peak, Ooty Lake, Hindustan photo film factory etc. By evening, transfer to Coonoor for sightseeing. The main attractions in Coonoor include Kelti valley view, Lam’s rock, Sim’s park, Winlock downs, Wellington island etc.  transfer to Ooty and stay overnight at the hotel.

After having breakfast, check out from the hotel in Ooty and proceed to Bangalore or the return journey. You can shop and sightsee on the way. Our representative will drop you back to Bangalore for the forward flight in the evening.
