Day 1
Houseboat Stay at Kumarakom
Our representative will receive you at the Cochin International airport and will escort you to Kumarakom, on arrival check into the houseboat. Set out an awesome overnight backwater cruise in traditional Kerala houseboats. Take to the water amongst tranquil backwaters for a sunset cruise enjoying the intoxicating scenery from the upper deck lounge area to enjoy Kerala Backwaters and Houseboat.
Glimpse local people fishing or crafting coir products amongst the exotic coconut groves before retiring for the night in your cabin below. Evening houseboat cruise in houseboat will offer visitors the authentic taste of the paradise in Kerala - Kumarakom. All meals will be served on board and overnight stay in houseboat.

Cochin sightseeing
Enjoy breakfast on your houseboat and enjoy a scenic drive to Cochin where you are liberty to while away your time sightseeing in this historic yet vibrant destination. Round off the day with another cruise at sundown, showcasing the intriguing Crab and Prawn farms, the spectacular delights of Marine Drive, Willington Island and the lively Kochi Harbour to name just a few. Sleep is on a resort in Cochin.

Old Cochin Tour
Explore Kochi and Fort Kochi and Mattancherry .Fort Kochi is a charming and eclectic mix of local charm fused with centuries of colonial influence from the British, Dutch and Portuguese settlers. The Jewish Synagogue is one such example, a surprising find in this location but well worth seeing. Dating back four hundred years, it is acclaimed for the hand-painted Chinese tiles and sparkling Belgian glass chandeliers. St. Francis Church and the Dutch Palace with its ancient and inspiring murals complete the trinity of striking architecture and treasures, a day is just not long enough to see everything that is on offer.

Departure
After an overnight stay in Fort Kochi, we will take you from your hotel back to the airport in time for your flight. There is plenty of time to shop en route and enjoy any delights that catch your eye before you leave Kochi, guaranteed to return.

The total distance in Backwaters Cochin Tour is 177 kilometers and the road passes through Aluva, Edappally, Aroor, Cherthala, Thanneermukkam Bund and Kumarakom Town, Fort Kochi. The road conditions can be crowded though on occasion with pedestrians, cattle and local traffic! The activities on this trip are geared for children 12 years old and up.

We specialise in Customised holiday packages in Kerala and we will be able to offer you any resort in Kerala as we have direct relationshops with most resorts. If you want to change the resorts in this package, one of our trip designers will work with you till you are happy with the package. Our Trip Designers will be also able to tell you the highlights of each resort and you can decide on whether you woud like to book the same resort

When you book a holiday with hotels and taxi together with us we will be able to offer you much lower rates than what you will get directly. As we use carefully handicked drivers who can offer the quality that we ideally want, we dont offer taxi only booking services.
