Day 1
Kochi Airport to Athirapilly
Receive a warm welcome from our representative at the arrival terminal. Drive towards the most awaited Athirapilly. Take breaks on the way to the resort to enjoy a lovely view of the fantastic waterfalls. Check in to the resort. Later, proceed to visit Vazhachal Waterfalls with a height of 120m and Athirapilly Falls with a height of 80ft. Thumboormuzhi Garden is another tourists spot to experience nature at its best.

Day 2
Athirapilly to Munnar
Check out from the resort, after a replenishing breakfast in the morning. Set the journey towards Munnar while enjoying the beautiful sceneries of Athirapilly on the way. This gateway towards the beautiful hill station Munnar is full of magnificent waterfalls and greeneries. On the way falls two mighty waterfalls known as Valara Waterfalls and Cheeyappara Waterfalls and take a break at Neriamangalam Bridge to feel the extensive life-giving Periyar River flowing in its own rhythm. Check into a lovely resort in Munnar and spend the night.

Day 3
Munnar to Munnar
After a nice morning meal; it is time to enjoy the day roaming around Munnar. Munnar is known for the serene hills covered with the tea plantations; where the three mountain streams merge to attract travellers from all over the world who can feel the fresh breeze and experience the thrill of enjoying a trip at the highest peak of South India. Places to visit in Munnar include: the popular picnic spot Mattypetty, home of varieties of cattle (Swiss Dairy Farm), listen to your own voice at Echo Point, View of tea and coffee plantations at Poopara and Pothamedu, Munnar Tea Museum, Rose Garden, Mattupetty Indo Swiss Project and wildlife lovers’ Eravikulam National Park. Have a relaxing night in the resort.

Day 4
Munnar to Thekkady
Depart from Munnar after a good breakfast in the morning to head towards the home of woods and wildlife; Thekkady. The famous Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Thekkady. The route from Munnar to Thekkady is filled with scenic beauties; where one can cherish the fabulous view of cardamom estates, tea/coffee plantations and hills/mountains while smelling the delightful aroma in the air. Once reach Thekkady, check into the hotel and prepare for a wonderful day in Thekkady. Visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and opt for boat ride to know the scenic beauty and wildlife of the reserve. If lucky then get to spot some rare species of animals which reside in the reserve. Relax at night in the resort.

Day 5
Thekkady to Kumarakom
Have your breakfast and checkout from the resort in Thekkady. Travel towards Kumarakom and check into the houseboat on arrival. Kumarakom is located on the largest lake of Kerala and is famous for its green backwaters. Enjoy a fabulous houseboat ride on the backwaters of Kumarakom and eat fresh meals prepared by your very own chef in the houseboat. Experience the view of Kerala’s countryside and get to know the local inhabitants. Spend the night in the houseboat on the backwaters.

Day 6
Kumarakom to Kochi Airport
After breakfast; prepare to check out from the houseboat and head towards the airport in Kochi. If time permits; get to shop at Kochi on the way and take breaks for local sightseeing. Get dropped to the airport by evening by our representative.

The total distance to be covered in 6 days in the "Gems of Kerala" package covering Athirapilly, Munnar, Thekkady, Kumarakom Houseboat and Kochi is 455 kilometres. The road conditions can be crowded though on occasion with pedestrians, vehicles and local traffic!

We specialise in Customised holiday packages in Kerala and we will be able to offer you any resort in Kerala as we have direct relationshops with most resorts. If you want to change the resorts in this package, one of our trip designers will work with you till you are happy with the package. Our Trip Designers will be also able to tell you the highlights of each resort and you can decide on whether you woud like to book the same resort

When you book a holiday with hotels and taxi together with us we will be able to offer you much lower rates than what you will get directly. As we use carefully handicked drivers who can offer the quality that we ideally want, we dont offer taxi only booking services.
